Worship is a primary activity of our congregation. We worship on Sundays at 8:15 and 11:00am and on Wednesdays at 6:45pm. On Sunday’s we use a blended form of liturgical worship, drawing from various resources to often stress a theme or themes that are present in the Scripture lessons appointed for that day.
We have not gone to a “traditional” or a “contemporary” service, but rather have stressed a celebration of diversity in our worship. We believe the entire congregation can appreciate a new song from a youth gathering as well as appreciating a hymn from the 3rd century. We can be formal at times and within the same service be informal enough to laugh and “play” as a congregational family. All services include the Celebration of Holy Communion.
