Worship with Us
God comes to us, nourishing us with God’s Word of love and forgiveness and gifting us with new life. We come to God offering our prayers, praise and thanksgiving. We listen for God in the Scriptures, in the sermon, in the hymns, and we gather at the altar to receive the Sacrament of Holy Communion, God’s gift of forgiveness, strength and peace.
Christ Lutheran Church offers many options for Worship. To find out more about our worship style, visit the Worship Experience page. Or, learn about our Liturgy, church music, or view Sunday worship bulletins.
We offer two Sunday services, at 8:15 and 11:00am. Our Sunday Worship includes a Children’s Sermon and then the opportunity for children through grade 3 to attend “Children’s Church” which seeks to teach about Christian worship in a setting for appropriate to their age. Children rejoin their families for Holy Communion and to receive a blessing.
Wednesday Evening Service
Our Wednesday evening service at 6:45 (7 p.m. during the Lenten Season) is approximately one half hour in length. It includes a message, usually based on a Scripture lesson, and the celebration of Holy Communion. Usually on the first Wednesday of the month, the service includes anointing with oil and prayers for healing for anyone desiring this.
A variety of special services are offered throughout the year to celebrate church holidays or other occasional events. View our calendar to find information on upcoming special services.
